About Kathleen Rehl, Ph.D., CFP®
I'm an author, educator, mentor, and storyteller dedicated to empowering widows — and those who assist them. After my husband died, I turned my grief into purpose, helping other women navigate the financial and emotional challenges of widowhood.

My award-winning book, Moving Forward on Your Own: A Financial Guidebook for Widows, has supported thousands of women as they move through loss into healing.
Through articles, poetry, and presentations, I also share reflections that encourage legacy planning and purposeful aging.

Now, in my “ReFirement” years, I embrace what matters most to me: family, friends, fulfillment, fun — and fitness of mind, body, spirit, and finances. I also teach at The American College of Financial Services--guiding professionals in legacy and philanthropy planning.

Whether you’re a widow looking for a bit of inspiration, a professional serving grieving clients, or someone exploring legacy or purposeful aging, I'm here to support your journey.
